Mr. Atul Narayan Singh, as President of the GDC Marh Alumni Association, which is registered cooperative societies under the Society Registration Act 1860, our registration Certificate Bearer no. 577 CSA 2023 dated 10/10/2023, has in his possession a QR code that is linked to the bank account of our alumni association and is given to College Principal Dr.Rakesh Kumar Koul. This novel concept is aimed at providing a more facile means of raising capital to enhance various projects and programs within the society. The amount collected through this QR code will be put towards making alumni association guest house, organising student welfare activities for GDC Marh students, and giving jobs for our college alumni with collaboration of many companies of Jammu and Kashmir. We are happy to inform you that this is the very first QR code issued by any college’s alumni association in the entire Jammu and Kashmir region, which is a clear precursor to how we intend to fundraise for the association in the future. Most of the alumni associations have opened a bank account in one or the other, but most of them do not have this feature of the QR code attached to the registered bank account. Mr. Atul Narayan Singh, in this regard, is quite concerned about the new things that can be useful for our society, and because of his focus, he has been able to accomplish things that no ALUMNI president has ever done.
